Sports Department

No sports..." (Winston Churchill) - Not with us!!! 

The sports department organizes and coordinates the sports program for the students during the semester. The design of the specific sports offer depends on the interests of the respective students: "Speyer is what you make of it!"

The most important task of the sports department is to organize a regular sports program. It is responsible for the search for suitable instructors, suitable sports facilities and the appointment coordination.

In addition, the sports department is the contact for all sports enthusiasts, takes care of special conditions for students and also informs about the sports activities of the Speyer clubs.

The sports offer at the University of Speyer is an important balance to the study programme, promotes the community of the Hörerschaft and makes an important contribution to the integration of foreign students ... and is just fun!

Important: The insurance cover of the Hörerschaft is only valid for courses that are conducted by students of the DUV in coordination with the sports department. When participating in external offers there is basically NO insurance coverage by the Hörerschaft, even if the sports department has pointed to the respective offers.
